Who We Are

The name "The Gathering Place" comes from the Bible verse Genesis 49:10 "Unto Him shall the Gathering of the people be."

 

For twenty-one years The Gathering Place has done our utmost to live out this verse by opening our doors and our hearts to a hurting and dying world. To be effective in this endeavor; we provide the tangible needs for those suffering with HIV disease in the Name of Jesus. In turn, this creates avenues for us to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and His saving Grace leading to Eternal Life.

 

Our trained staff provides an atmosphere where people can share their secret hurts, pains and needs in a secure setting. This then allows us to identify individual needs and co-ordinate a plan designed specifically that best accomplishes those goals for each client. To fulfill many of these needs, TGP has in-house programs to do this. Like our food bank. The average year provides at least ten tons of food distributed to those in need of nutritional meals. Our emergency funding program provides funds to curtail the termination of necessary utilities, like electric or water. This is just a few of the services we provide. These are always done with quality and compassion, never allowing and opportunity go by to let people know: Jesus Loves You and So Do We!
