The Gathering Place is a 501(c)3 public charity. We have been assisting those with HIV/AIDS and their families since 1987.
The vision of The Gathering Place is to improve the quality of life for children and adults living with HIV/AIDS through physical, spiritual, and emotional care and support. The name The Gathering Place (TGP) comes from the scripture Genesis 49:10, “Unto Him shall the gathering of the people be.” TGP has persevered to live out this verse by opening our doors and hearts to a hurting and dying world. To be effective in this endeavor, we have created case management and support programs that provide tangible needs for those with HIV/AIDS and their family members and ensure a safe, secure environment without discrimination or prejudice where they can share their needs.

- The Gathering Place also strives to bring education regarding HIV to the public to prevent the spread of HIV and to increase the knowledge with compassion toward those already infected/affected by HIV/AIDS.
